Later Life Transitions

Aging brings both opportunities and challenges as individuals navigate changes in health, cognition, relationships, roles, and independence. I work with adults facing concerns related to retirement, shifting family dynamics, caregiving responsibilities, grief and loss, chronic health conditions, age-related cognitive changes, and questions about meaning, identity, and purpose in later life. For some, concerns about memory, cognitive decline, or a diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment or dementia can create uncertainty, anxiety, and significant adjustments for both individuals and their families.

Therapy provides a space to process these transitions, develop effective coping strategies, and strengthen emotional resilience while adapting to changing circumstances. Together, we work to manage stress, address anxiety or depression, improve communication and support systems, and identify ways to maintain connection, autonomy, and quality of life. My approach emphasizes practical skills, emotional regulation, and compassionate support so that you can navigate aging-related challenges with greater confidence, clarity, and steadiness.
